For millennia our ancestors worshiped the Sun and revered the Solstice (21st December) as the height of Winter, as a time of quiet reflection and restoration. This is when they released the past, whilst also dreaming the future into being, allowing intentions to formulate in their subconscious, just as the seeds of all that will bloom in the following year hibernate beneath seemingly inactive fallow land. At this time our fore-bearers rejoiced in the Sun's increasing power, as after appearing to stand still for a short while, the days gradually begin to grow longer from this point on.
This ceremony will be a journey to honour the depths of Winter, the tranquility within you and the triumph of light over darkness, through rejuvenating practices that enliven the senses. We join together to share solstice rituals, dance and be enveloped by sound healing with reiki.
We will create a safe space where all of you is welcome, the dark and the light. You can face your feelings, share openly and move instinctually, free from judgement or prying eyes.
Let the magic of the longest night envelop and replenish you as you sit together, sip on spiced mulled wine & celebrate the end of 2022 and a new beginning.

The ceremony takes place on Friday 16th of December 20:00-23:00 at Shanti Vida in Carrer Codols 20 in Barcelona.
