For the second year in a row join Alice, Sam and other like-minded souls as we ring in the New Year of 2025 in conscious celebration. We will spend from Sunday 29th December to Monday 1st of January at a gorgeous Masia, surrounded by lush gardens, on the Maresme coast an hour north of Barcelona.
We will ground ourselves in the deeply nourishing and cosy energy of Winter, slowing down as we tune into our inner worlds through rituals and restorative practices, including sound healing, yoga and breathwork. There will be plenty of time to unwind, curl up with a good book, or chat around the fire.
This retreat is open to men and women.

what to expect ON THIS SPECIAL RETREAT
From the moment we arrive on Sunday we’ll ground ourselves in the deeply nourishing and cosy energy of Winter, slowing down as we tune into our inner worlds through yang to yin yoga and sound healing.
Monday will start with a dynamic yoga flow and meditation to activate our energies as we prepare to lay the year to rest. In circle and ceremony we will reflect on the past 12 months, treasuring the memories, mourning the losses and honouring the wisdom gleaned. There will be ample time for journalling and sharing (with no pressure to do so). A powerful breathwork session will help to expel the energy of the year gone by and we will burn away all that no longer serves with a purifying fire ritual.
New Year’s Eve will be a day of joyful and conscious celebration, starting with playful connection yoga. We will then honour the rare and powerful black moon, in a new moon circle to explore and harness the energy of Capricorn. This will help us feel into our goals for the year ahead.
The night of the 31st will be a sumptuous feast for the senses. We will awaken each sense in turn, revelling in the miracle of our existence as we enjoy a blindfold dinner, cacao ceremony and dance ecstatically into 2025.
We will welcome the first day of the New Year with gratitude. Allowing our intentions to bubble and seed through meditation, journalling and song.
A delicious breakfast & lunch will be shared with new friends before closing the circle and embarking on our fresh adventures with a sense of rejuvenation.
Meet your teachers
Sam and Alice met 4 years ago and bonded over their love of yoga and cyclical wisdom. They have been co-creating events together for several years ranging from seasonal circles and workshops to retreats. This is their second year of holding the Renewal retreat and they are looking forward to welcoming you into this nourishing space. Click the plus signs below to read their bios.

Samantha Is a Barcelona-based ceremonialist, women’s wellness coach and writer. She specialises in menstrual empowerment & cyclical wisdom. She is the founder of By The Light Mooncircle and also hosts seasonal circles, rites of passage ceremonies and retreats.
The thread that travels through all she creates is connection to feminine energy. Her work is an invitation to return to old ways and ancestral gnosis that bring balance, and build bonds of healed sisterhood and a relationship with the natural world around us. The Earth beneath our feet, the Sun, the Moon, the Cosmos - the cyclical nature of them all, that also plays out in our wombs and lives.

Alice Is an embodiment yoga and meditation teacher. Teaching from an intuitive and nurturing place, she invites students to connect and tune in as they move. She enjoys teaching fluid & playful vinyasa style classes that encourage students to explore their own individuality.
For the past five years she’s been co-creating international yoga retreats and adores developing enriching experiences for people.
Alice is a reiki master & breathwork facilitator, holding space for profound energetic healing.
LUXURIOUS ROOMS
All of the luxury rooms are spacious and beautiful. There’s a selection of twin, quadruple and one double room. Most are with ensuite bathrooms & the others only share a bathroom with one other room.

You’ll be spending your new years celebration in a stunning Masia on the coast of the Maresme, Barcelona. The Masia is set in beautiful grounds with ample outdoor space to sit peacefully in the gardens or relax in a hammock. Snuggle up on the sofa by the open fire or drink in the fresh air on the lush terrace.

The masia is 50 minutes by car from Barcelona and 1 hour 15 minutes by train from Placa Catalunya in Barcelona. The closest airport is Barcelona El Prat Airport.

Early bird pricing of 750€ for a shared room up until 27th October 2024, 850€ after.
Food, accommodation and activities are included in the price.
Transfers to the retreat house, use of the sauna and massages are not included in the price.
The retreat will be in English but we can translate into Castellano and Catalan.
In order to secure your place we ask for a 200€ non-refundable deposit. The full balance for the retreat will be due on 29th November 2023.
